Volunteers play an important role in the Inclusion West Niagara community. They bring energy, new perspectives, and valuable support to our programs and events while helping strengthen connections between the people we support and the broader community.
Whether helping at an event, supporting behind the scenes, or sharing professional skills, volunteers contribute to creating inclusive opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES MAY INCLUDE
Event Support: Assist with community events such as wellness fairs, barbecues, information booths, and celebrations.
Administrative Support: Help with office tasks such as organizing materials, filing, and communications support.
Student Placements: Structured placements for secondary school, college, and university students looking to gain experience in community services.
Specialized Skills: Individuals with professional or creative skills—such as trades, technology, design, or communications—who wish to contribute their expertise on specific projects.
Volunteers with Lived Experience: People supported by Inclusion West Niagara or people with developmental disabilities who want to share their voices, perspectives, and leadership in the community.
