CHILDREN’S SUPPORTED LIVING

Children’s Supported Living provides a safe, home-based setting for up to six male youth who require ongoing supervision and support.

Each child is supported through an individualized, person-centred plan tailored to their strengths and needs. Our team works closely with families to ensure consistent, responsive care.

The program promotes routine, connection, and opportunities for growth within a stable and supportive environment.

Our Supported Living Advantage

Children’s Supported Living at Inclusion West Niagara is built on leadership, structure, and individualized care.

A full-time supervisor oversees the program to ensure consistency, quality, and responsive support for both children and families. We maintain a 1:2 staffing ratio, providing personalized attention within a safe and supportive home environment. Overnight staffing includes both an awake and a sleeping team member to ensure continuous care and supervision.

Our team is trained to support a wide range of developmental and complex needs, including FASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dual Diagnosis, and Acquired Brain Injury. Staff meet rigorous education and screening standards and participate in ongoing professional development to maintain high-quality care.

Children benefit from access to clinical supports such as occupational therapy, behavioural services, speech and language therapy, and nursing consultation. Programming also includes creative weekly activities, community outings, and enrichment experiences that promote confidence, connection, and growth.

Our goal is to provide more than supervision—we create a stable, nurturing home where children feel respected, supported, and encouraged to thrive.
